The position is open for an individual with strong optical/material technology knowledge and commercialization experience. Previous experience on doing business with government is preferred. Electronic/Senior Electronics Engineer BATi is seeking for experienced engineers for optical device control electronics as well as instrumentation design. Duties include: hardware/firmware architecture, prototyping, and debugging; analog and digital board level circuit design; module and subsystem level instrument design and customer software interface. Familiar with MCU, DSP, FPGA and PLD development. A minimum of three-years hands-on industrial experience in the same filed is highly desirable. Opto-Mechanical/Mechanical Engineer This position is open for experienced individuals in opto-mechanical or mechanical design. Candidate should have a degree in Optical or Mechanical Engineering as well as at least 3 years hands-on experience. Duties include Perform detailed optical and mechanical designs from concept through completion including alignment and testing. Solicit design requirements and define design concepts for various optical systems in collaboration with scientists and engineers. Must be proficient in Solid Modeling utilizing Solidworks, and/or 2D and 3D AutoCAD. familiar with optical and x-ray imaging system will be a plus. Optical/Senior Optical Engineer (Scientist) Multiple positions are open for experts on advanced fiberoptic/optic devices. Duties include: lead the development/commercialization of families of products based on electro-optic, piezoelectric, magneto-optic, and none-linear optics and supporting the commercialization of Company’s new products. Software Engineer Highly motivated individual with a minimum of 3 years of experience in software design, development and instrument control, experience in data acquisition and fluency in graphic-interface programming such as LabWindows/CVI and Visual C/C++ desirable, bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent preferable. Material Engineer The position is open for experienced individuals in material synthesis and sol-gel film growth. A minimum of three-year hands-on experience in materials design, synthesis and fabrication is required. Duties include development of nano-particles, acoustic, electro-optical, and magneto-optical materials, daily materials preparation, synthesis and characterization. Marketing/Sales BATi is looking for a highly motivated Marketing/Sales candidates with sales experience in fiberoptic components to enhance the marketing activities. A F/T or P/T market/sales assistant position is also available. This position requires excellent phone skills, painstaking attention to detail, a great can-do attitude and be familiar with Microsoft windows and Office. Technicians/Assemblers Technician/Assembler positions are available in materials, optics, fiberoptic devices and electronics.
