  • Based on a high performance EclipseTM variable optical attenuator (VOA) and high precision control circuits, Boston Applied Technologies’ optical power regulator/limiter provides an ultimate solution for optical power stabilizing and limiting. The product can be set to maintain the output optical power at a constant level, countering the power fluctuations caused by PDL, channel add/drop, and other sources. The system can control the output power level to better than 0.01 dB. The products can also be used as an optical power limiter to protect the down streams. The complete unit can be either a stand-alone unit or a module for system integration.
